Optimizing the search on a website has many benefits - faster results and smoother user experience to start with - but it also helps when AI bots hit a search page with facets, grinding your site to a halt.
I will show what site builders - using contrib modules such as Solr Search and Facets 3 - can do about that, based on some of examples of sites where editors really, really like tagging their content and with online archives that go back for decades.
